How it all started

Sentience born by Molly after years of participating in - and helping to organise - traditional staff incentive trips that, while well-intentioned, never quite delivered what they promised. They were expensive, logistically heavy, and often revolved around the same formula: big dinners, busy schedules, and little time to genuinely recharge. What was meant to celebrate people’s achievements often left them more tired than inspired when they returned to work.

Experiential
Findings.

Having experienced this first-hand, she began to question what truly makes people feel rewarded. Through conversations with colleagues, peers, and leaders, she realised that at the heart of it all, everyone was striving for something bigger than bonuses or titles - they were all quietly working towards their own bucket lists. The dream trip. The once-in-a-lifetime experience. The moment that reminds them who they are outside of work.

Reimagining
Incentive Travel

Molly saw an opportunity to reimagine what incentive travel could be — meaningful, restorative, and deeply human. Sentience was created from the belief that the best rewards don’t just thank people for their hard work, but help them reconnect with themselves, their teams, and the world around them.

A Discovery
of Wonder

Each journey blends adventure, wellness, and soulful connection - encouraging people to step outside their routines, rediscover their sense of wonder, and return with renewed energy, clarity, and purpose. By creating experiences that prioritise balance and belonging, Molly aims to prove that rewarding teams the right way doesn’t just make them happier - it makes them perform better too.

The Human Connection

The mission is simple: to design trips that people remember for a lifetime, that inspire long after the journey ends, and that bring the magic of genuine human connection back to the workplace.
